We had a call from the managing director of the company who required a new generator to power his chillers. One of our engineers went on site to size up the project, we had many of our engineers request to go to the site with the hope of a free beverage for their troubles. All their beers are born & brewed in Yorkshire, it’s real honest beer made with proper Yorkshire ‘Watter’, British Barley, Malt & Yeast with whole hops and nowt else and based up in t’moors.

Since the brewery launched in 2012, they now export worldwide, so they need a reliable 3 Phase 100kVA Diesel generator. It would be catastrophic for them if their generator failed, as they are regularly importing beer worldwide as well as serving the whole of Yorkshire. There are a lot of Yorkshire folk who require that sweet tasting beer I know our Managing Director, Daniel Arnett, is one of them.
The generator required needed to be 100kVA as well as super silent due to the amount of tours they have on a daily basis. Although the generator would be used mainly out of hours, there is always the chance that they need the generator to supply power during the day.
Results
Our R&D team worked out the best solution to lower the sound levels to achieve 62dBA @7M. Several checks were put in place to hit this requirement and the generator was installed out of hours as not to effect the production of Yorkshires fine ales.
