Project Overview
One of our main UK Dealers Hampshire Generators have recently completed a project to replace an old 400kva Openset generator with a canopied CPS Alpha Series set powered by a Scania DC13 072A 02-12 and Mecc-Alte ECO40-1S. The generator itself will be back up to a huge industrial park in greater London which hosts many large and well-known companies here in England.
Constant Power Solutions and Hampshire Generators have been working together now for a number of years by assisting them with UK Enquiries in their region and supporting Hampshire Generators and their clients if they need require additional support.

Hampshire Generators and CPS won this particular project due to the fact that the client could be fully serviced from start to finish. Unlike most jobs, this job was a lot trickier than most. The client had an old 400kva open set that needed to be replaced due to age, the old generator was housed inside a building and had to be removed, as the building was built around the generator, to remove the generator the team had to remove parts of the building to accommodate. They then had to crane out the old generator from the complex. Finally, the new soundproofed AS400S CPS Set was craned into the building. The housing was nearly rebuilt, whilst ensuring that there was enough air flow in the newly built housing to ensure the generator would be running at its optimum level.
The whole project was completed on time and in budget to give the industrial complex and their clients complete back up should there be any power cuts.
