Powered by Deutz Engine
The AD60S is powered by a German manufactured Deutz BF4M2011 series Diesel engine coupled to a Mecc Alte UK or Stamford EU alternator.
Our Deutz Powered Diesel generators come with a full global warranty, giving our clients worldwide after-sales support. Furthermore, CPS are an authorised Deutz partner and have certification to show we use genuine Deutz engines in our generators.
Originally founded in 1864, all Deutz engines are built in Germany, a country well known for producing sturdy and reliable machinery. As well as a country that bought you famous brands such as Volkswagen and BMW. Not to mention that Deutz hold not one, but three ISO accreditations!
All Deutz engines come with up to 36 months* warranty from commissioning and installation date. The 2011 Engine range are oil cooled with favourable fuel consumption. Whilst 90kVA to 500kVA which we produce here at CPS are all with water-cooled Deutz engines.
The benefits to oil cooling are:
- Oil naturally prevents corrosion of the engine. This leads to lower maintenance requirements and therefore lower running costs.
- Oil is used as both a lubricant and a coolant in these engines. This eliminates the needs for two separate housing units for water and oil.
- Oil has a higher boiling point than water, so it can be used to cool items at a temperatures above 100 °C.
- The engines have high ambient clearance characteristics if installed correctly. Compact cooling pack.
- Oil is an electrical insulator, thus it can be used inside of or in direct contact with electrical equipment such as in transformers.
- It has been found that oil leaks are less likely in oil cooled engines given its’ use in the machine.
The Deutz brand and presence is worldwide renowned. They have service agents in all regions and most countries, meaning your CPS Generator warranty is covered globally. Given you peace of mind that not only are you buying a generator from CPS which meets are quality and assurance, but you are also covered in your region or country should you need ours or Deutz support guaranteed.
