The CPS Three Phase 16kva Generator, ALP16S is a unit designed and manufactured by our team of expert engineers to ISO9001 standards, using UK & EU components in Selby, North Yorkshire for various power applications around the world. The Diesel generators are suitable for prime or standby applications, meaning our generators are suitable for multiple purposes such as domestic homes, data centers, business-critical systems, agriculture, mobile food outlets, and various industrial applications.
Our soundproofed canopies are manufactured from galvanised steel, too very high standards, with a double door on each side to allow easy installation and servicing. All canopies are powder-coated, including fixings, to ensure longevity. Residential silencers are standard across our full range, to aid noise reduction.
The weatherproof enclosure system protects the components of the generator, our canopies designed for various climates around the world. All of our canopied generators come with a sizeable base fuel tank at standard, lifting hooks, and forklift space to put the generator into the site.

Powered by Lister Petter Engine
The ALP16S is powered by a UK Lister Petter LPW4 Diesel engine coupled to a Mecc Alte UK or Stamford EU alternator.
Over recent years Lister Petter has changed ownership but it is proud to remain a 100% British owned business with all of its manufacturing and assembly still within its home county of Gloucestershire. The engines are capable of continuous operation at prime, not standby power. As a result, the engines with proper planned maintenance and overhaul can be operated 24/7.
The Lister Petter range of Alpha engines give power from 6.8 kW through to 37.5 kW with speeds of 1500, 1800, 3000 and 3600rpm. The Alpha range of engines are water cooled through either a radiator or water cooled manifold. This robust and versatile engine offers many configurations to suit customer requirements.
Controlled by Deep Sea Electronics
CPS diesel generators are controlled by the worldwide renowned brand Deep Sea Electronics, manufactured here in the UK and providing customers worldwide pre/after-sales support. We use the DSE4520, DSE7120, DSE7420, and DSE8610 across our range of diesel generators. Our engineers are fully trained to program and set up the parameters of the Deep Sea Electronics modules.
Giving our clients further peace of mind we use the Deep Sea Electronics battery chargers in our diesel generator sets In standby applications, we also use the Deep Sea Electronics business management and GPS systems technology in our bespoke applications.
