OFF GRID POWER SOLUTIONS

Some parts of the UK and Europe are still completely off grid, off grid applications require a generator that can run for long periods of time, providing power to the household and they usually work in conjunction with a battery storage system.

Off grid generators need to be sized correctly, to ensure they can power all equipment needed, but also so they can run at the most optimum performance.

Whilst some off grid customers opt for a solar system, which charges their storage batteries, they also have a generator to supplement their power requirements. Off grid generators also provide an instant source of power, for solar powers and battery systems need to be repaired or maintained.

Off grid generators tend to be quieter than typical off the shelf generators, purely because they need to run for longer periods of time and therefore, they are manufactured to be quieter to produce less noise pollution.

Off grid generators range from various sizes, from little portable inverter generators to larger single phase diesel generators.

Because Diesel generators can be costly to run for long periods of time, and are not necessarily cheaper than a mains connection, battery storage systems are connected to them, to help with the power output requirements.
